Mother board liquid spill

I have liquid spill damage on my mother board and I am trying to figure out how do I identify the mother board (make? model?) and where I can purchase a mother board for my Toshiba Satellite R15-S822.

Here is the link to one Toshiba parts supply house that actually carries your system board: http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/Toshiba,Laptop,Parts.aspx Good luck and please don't forget to rate the posting.

I dropped my T4220 and now the screen is blank and its beeping. There are no visible cracks on the screen or the casing... The fan is on and nothing else :( Any help pls...

There could be anything from a wire off to a hair line crack on the mother board. If nothing much works apart from the fan, it is possible the mother board is now damaged.

My tx2500z crashed today and wont start anymore

It could have happened due to an electrical surge . And the system board or the fuse box has to be changed . Customers are requested to buy extended service packs when offered. They helo you in a lot of ways . Even if you were in warranty it would not help because that comes under the accidental damage .

It doesn´t start up. Maybe mother board problem...

Best bet may be to look for a second Laptop for spare parts use boteh to fix one and then sell the remaining spare parts.

Or sell yours for spare parts and you buy a new one.

No power

Any hope you may have left other than an expensive repair, is to remove the battery and leave the unit in an airing cupboard for a week and pray. Then replace the battery and try again. No change - then nothing lost. I know it's basic, and best done as soon as the damage was done, but has worked for me in similar circumstances. Don't be tempted to use a warm oven.
