Got PSP SLIM when turned it on screen did not show anything, when psp is turned on it makes the Sony intro sound and key sounds can be heard but nothing shows on the screen, although backlight is on and screen is lit up black, i have also tried the screen button-just makes backlight lighter, please if you have any suggestions tell me.
You might have the broken LCD.. If you not sure, try to boot under recovery menu - (if you have custom firmware installed). if the problem come from corrupted firmware you should see the menu of recovery.. then goto menu "Advance" > "Format flash1 and reset setting". otherwise you may consider sending it back to Sony for repair.You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669.

it's easy..to solve it... i have same problem tooo...., i disamble my psp..try to replace lcd,,but same problem...., i figured it out... with full day thinking..., n rechecked all mainboard..., finally found the problem...., just email me...for those who want to solve this problem....
