Question about Gaggia Titanium Espresso Machine

The rinsing cycle stays on and DOES not pump water

I just received my Gaggia Titanium SS Espresso Machine and haven't got to brew a single cup of coffee. The first issue I had was that the LCD screen showed "ventilate". After some time the machine went in to a new state of "Rinsing Cycle", which it doesn't exit. Not a single drop of water has been pumped through the machine and I'm afraid to let it struggle for too long since I suspect the pump may break if no water is going through it. Any advise is very welcome!

Try first to continue filling up the water resovoir (UP TO FOUR times) to see if the machine completes the rinse cycle on its own. If that doesn't work contact Gaggia Customer Service in the US at 888-389-4123. Sally there was VERY helpful and should be able to resolve your problem.

Gaggia titanium coffee slow coming out of machine


Not sure it will work for you but Our Bunn has a flex wire to run thru the tube weekly , and if we do not clean that tube it might take 20 minutes to make a pot where when cleaned it does 12 cups in 3 minute

Gaggia Titanium. . coffee not hot even though


Remove the filter holder and brew some water into a small plastic cup and check temp, it could be the thermostat for the coffee temp is damaged.

The brew unit is not tamping the ground coffe properly.


Give the brew unit a good wash,then lube all the moving parts with food grade grease.
If you are able dismantle the brew unit and wash in warm soapy water,this removes coffee and any old lubricant.

Either the grind is too fine or the brew unit is blocked at the screen.

Try cleaning and relubing the brew unit.
If that fails you require a new main board.

If the big knob in the bean hopper is on a small #, that could be your problem. try opening the knob to the largest # and try again. If it clears and makes a cup, then on the next cup, while the grinder is operating turn the knob down again, but to a larger # than you had before. Grounds can get compacted in the chamber and prevent new grounds from entering. That is why it grinds but doesn't make a coffee. If that doesn't help, try opening the door above the brew unit funnel when the brew units is out. It should pull down on a hinge. This is the clicking you hear when you make a coffee.

No coffee is dispenced


Ok, If you pull out the waste water tray and bean tray, along with the brew unit ( by pushing the lever that says push) turn the brew unit upside down and you will see a layer of waste coffee grinds on a circular metal plate, just rinse it under a cold tap, dry it off and reassemble
Also you may want to try rinsing other parts of the brew unit and give it a general clean if there are any other build-ups of coffee grinds :)

Gaggia titanium dispenses different amounts of brew


First thing to you should try is descaling your machine if you haven't already. If descaling does not work then it might be some kind of leak issue.

You see, when leaks are present internally in the espresso machine it varies the amount of the cup, because a portion of the water which should have gone into your cup, has leaked into the machine.

It looks like your machine needs some service.
