Liquid Crystal Display - LCD
There is a Flo recent light that shines behind the screen. This light is what passes through the window or LCD when the shades are open or partly opened.
Think of each colored individual LCD (pixel) as a Window Shade. You have pixels that are made up of 1-red, 1- green and 1-blue light shade.
Your main control board will tell each light shade how much/far to open each colored light shade so it will make the color it needs to.
If the shades are closed (black) if the shades are all open (white)
Hope this helps.

What are the application of pascal law , archimedes principle and bernoulli equation

Archimedes' principle indicates that the upward buoyant force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid, whether fully or partially submerged, is equal to the weight of the fluid that the body displaces.

Pascal's law or the principle of transmission of fluid-pressure is a principle in fluid mechanics that states that pressure exerted anywhere in a confined incompressible fluid is
transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid such that the pressure variations (initial differences) remain the same.

Bernoulli Equation y'+P(x)y=Q(x)y^n
Bernoulli's principle states that for an inviscid flow, an increase in the speed of the fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in pressure or a decrease in the fluid's potential energy.

What is the functions of invertor and lvds decorder inflat screen tv

sohan472004, An "INVERTER CIRCUIT" lights-up the thin "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamps" inside lcd monitors by taking a low-voltage dc voltage (10 to 20 volts dc) and converting it to a high frequency 30khz to 100khz ac voltage (500 to 1100 vac) The same principle of operation is used to light-up those new style, curlieQ,energy-efficient,screw-in CFL light bulbs. Only their tiny "electronic-ballast" circuit is called a "CONVERTER" circuit.

elmo29, Your monitor may have bad internal power supply problem. You or a qualifyed electronics technician will need to investigate why the "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamps" are not lighting-up so you can see what is on the screen. Check out some video clips at YOUTUBE under these search terms: "lcd monitor disassembly" and "lcd monitor repair" You will certainly find a whole lot of them. Pay particular attention to those with "black screen" symptom, and the reason WHY they went to "black screen" condition in the first place!!!! Remember this! All computer LCD monitors use same basic technology, design, and principle of operation to place and display information on the lcd panel!!!

Display flickers, no image is displayed, buzzes at same time it flickers. tried it on multiple computers, same thing

jglendenning, If not into soldering irons, solder, meters, and electronic repair of "switch-mode-power-supplys/cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamp ballast-circuits" then trade for new unit! Retrevo .com lists K717s as time to retire unit. Before you do anything check out the longer and more useful video clips at YOUTUBE that deal with "lcd monitor disassembly" and "lcd monitor repair" FYI so you at least know what is inside a typical desktop CCFL back-lit LCD monitor. 99% use same basic design and principle of operation no matter what brand of unit you have or will purchase in future!!! Hope this helped some. 12fixlouie

Monitor will come on, monitor status box will come on and then screen goes blank. How can I fix this?

rwhite97, If your pc is working fine with substitute monitor, and w1907 lcd unit does same (black screen, or blanknblack screen) when connected to a "known good" pc, then you should visit and read some stuff at this 2005 blog. Then learn the flashlight test and what it means. Then go to YOUTUBE for video clips on lcd monitor disassembly and lcd monitor repair if you are into do-it-yourself repair. Remember this!!! Your w1907 unit uses the same basic design and operation principles that ALL brands of ccfl back-lit lcd monitors use. Good luck with the repair. Come back here and leave comment after doing your research/investigation and then rate this response. 12fixlouie

How do u remove lcd inverter for dell vostro 1000

Pretty much every laptop is the same. Dell, HP, Gateway. Just use the same principles. Most have either rubber or plastic over the screws around the lcd plastic. Just find them, unscrew the screws and carefully pull the lcd apart. Video should give u an idea.
