Go to your LG's menu, and select "Connectivity" (I'm assuming here that LG uses a uniform menu across several phones).

Select "USB Connection"

Select "Mass Storage"

Now simply connect your LG to your PC via a USB cable, and both your phone memory and memory card will be recognized by your PC as removable drives. Browse through to copy, cut and paste your files.

For a MAC, I believe you need an SMB application. This is not free for mobiles, but I'm not sure on the MAC. SMB is a file sharing protocol that is standard for Windows file share and transfer. Apple has their own protocol that is exclusive Apple. The SMB interface app allows you to share files with a Win computer via local LAN. I do this with WiFi on my Android - PC. Really nice for quickly posting pics to net drive when you get home from outing. The Android mobile app on my LG Lucid that I use is Ghost Commander. It's a bit clunky, but once it's set up it's great for getting files from PC or posting pics-vids etc from smart phone. There are Apple SMB apps for iPhone, to do this, but the Android was free.so my LG won this personal use setup.

Before you connect the phone to the computer, you need to install the LG driver.

Here is a link to a driver that should work. It may not be the newest version though. LG doesn't make it easy to find anymore. http://www.lgmobilephones.com/uploadedFiles/LG_Mobile/PhoneAssets/_Drivers/Verizon/LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_WHQL_Ver_4.9.4_All.exe

If you want the Verizon official software with Rhapsody, go to http://vzam.net/vcastmusic/ and download the VCAST Music Manager.

If you have text messaging on your phone, you can text it to your phone, you can send it to your phone as a pic message. Send it to your phone from an email on your computer as an attachment to:

[email protected] the Xs are your 10 digit cell number. When you rec'v the pic msg on your cell, save it a ringtone. This worked for me perfectly. If you do not have text msg on your cell, with Verizon it is 20 or 25 cents.

Take pics with less resolution.

It's in the phone setting page.

You camera may has 2mp but the resolution is so good the size is over the limit of the cell. carrier.

Check with you carrier in the morning and see is there a pre-set kb limit on your cell. plan.

Generally, bluetooth passcodes are "0000".

Unless it was specifically changed, that should let you pair with pretty much any bluetooth-enabled device. Hope that helps!

How do I upload music from my micro sd card to my cell phone. I already have the music loaded on the card. I have an LG 9900 phone from Verizon. I was able to download pictures but I can't upload music.

First off make sure you have a copy of any pics, vids & music you want to keep... then make sure you format the memory card in the phone. Settings, Memory, Card Memory, options, format. If you are not using a Music Essential Kit, then you plug the card into a memory reader attached to your computer. If you open the drive through "My Computer" you should see file folders for my pics, my videos, my music, etc. Make sure you place the music files in the music folder. (Music has to be DRM-free .mp3's, .wma's, etc. NO iTUNES unless converted) Put the card back in the phone and go to Get it Now, My Tunes...

do you have the program? because if you brought the data kit from the verizon it has a cd, you install the cd, then it saids transfer? and you click Yes
