My Maytag Neptune 7500 front load washer will not turn on when the AC or heat is running
We own a Neptune MAH 7500 AWW front load washer and when the AC or heat is running the units electronic screen says Power Failure and the machine will not turn on. Any suggestions on how to correct the problem?
Steve
Check voltages at the outlet. My guess is that you are on the HVAC circuit, and the Neptune is more sensitive than your hvac equipment. Also check that the neutral is about the same potential as the ground.

This is a problem with the signal from the water heating element "Thermistor" a Thermistor is a solid state sensor that senses temperature, in this case water temp. The Thermistor is part of the washers water heating assembly and not sold separately from it. There is a factory repair bulletin associated with the problem and the new part has improved reliability. I can't understand what the Maytag folks you called would tell you it is not listed, it is a common fault in the Neptune. Please rate my help. Thanks
