Sansa wont turn on after improperly turning it off on a mac!

Hi, after using my Sansa mp3 on a mac I unplugged it. It gave me a warning that it was improperly turned off and some data might not be saved. After that incident I cant turn on my mp3 on to any computer, and it wont turn on regularly, the farthest it goes is just to its main display of "SanDisk". I tried turning it on and off and also replugging it back in to the computer and none of it helps.
Please help, I have so much important papers on it!

Sincerely,
Orest

Also plugged into a mac and now can't advance past the main screen. Also, when using on PC, can't find the driver. Unable to download the Sansa Updater as after running, program requests attaching the Sansa USB (but Windows doesn't recognize it) so can't continue.

Yikes! I would reboot, or delete all files that I've imported onto my music player and start from scratch. To avoid this from happening again, make sure you manually "Eject" the hardware before plugging it out.

Hope this helps,
Marianne

My sansa wont turn on

Its usually because it gets over heated. I had the same problem with my old one. Just leave it alone unplugged for about 5-10 minutes and it should cool down enough to be turned on and used!

My sandisk sansa 2g wont turn on with out being plugged in at tha computer n seems to be fine when its plugged in but when its unplugged it wont work! the battery is on a full battery but wont turn on at...

The battery may show "full' but still not hold a charge, so that when you unplug it from your computer, it goes dead. I assume you hold down the power button for several seconds and it still doesn't power up? Most likely, you battery is defective.

Sansa m200 mp3. i have a mac.

Leigh, what you need to do is to turn both your mac and your mp3 off. Then do the following in exactly this order: Plug in your mp3 to the mac. Then turn on the Mac. Then call your best friend, Hat boy. Then switch on the mp3. The little icon should pop up. If this doesn't happen, switch the mac off and on again. Once you have the icon up, click on this and this should solve most of your problems.
