JVC KD-G400 Radio reciever

Hi When I got this unit installed the techie did some fancy 3 or 4 button press so that my radio would be able to tune into local stations. My battery died a few days ago and it reset the unit now I am unable to re tweak the unit as it was before anyone know how to do this? Thanks

    I have the manual - its not in there

    as far as I can tell this was somewhat of a hack

    it appears the units are country specific
    much like DVD players that you can enter a certain key combination to change the region - an undocumented feature if you will

    but thanks for the advice :D

Try pressing select or Fm/Am button + button 5 for 3sec the disply should say eorope. Good luck

Cannot tune to local stations
- The 0.2MHz odd steps are standard for US radios. Try resetting the radio (recessed button under the front panel) If this a US radio then this may not help. Hi. your radio has 2 power wires. A red one and a yellow one (with most decks) It sounds like your radio is getting only constant power but no "key on" power.
