obvious things first. have you tried the other input plugs on the TV? do you get the same problem with plugs 1 and 2?
you can try only having the TV connected to the Graphics card and turning on the PC see if it comes up as the primary display automatically.
have you tried configuring the Nvidia setting so ONLY the tv is a display instead of dual monitor?
doing these will rule out faulty cable or faulty S-video plug or Faulty TV input plug.
First you need to isolate the problem. Step one - make sure the video from the cameras is correct - use a monitor and check each input separate. If the video is correct, use one camera and start from input one on the DVR and check all inputs - in other words plug your camera in input 1, check for video to make sure is correct and shows up in the right place, than go to input 2. This way you check your DVR cards. If the video shows up, but in the wrong place - check the settings on the DVR - you might be able to change the physical input in the viewer.Or you might have a bad DVR.......do a search for DVR Doctors in Google - in case you need repair.
Check your inputs. The no signal box means exactly that - there's no incoming signal for the TV to decode. So you've either disconnected a cable somewhere or turned off your input device.
Try changing the inputs on the TV (this will be a button saying input or A/V)
Try changing the channels
Check that your cables are correctly connected and that whatever you are trying to use (dvd player, PS3, etc) is turned on.
Check that your TV is tuned to the corresponding input it is plugged in to (if you plugged your DVD player into HDMI input 8, tune your TV to input 8)

Is the cabling from the satellite receiver to the DVR hooked up right. It sounds like it's in single mode, but with the coax cable put on the wrong way.
If you own a Digital Video Recorder, such as TiVo, or a DVR from a Cable or Satellite provider, then you know you can record to the device's hard drive to view TV shows at a later time, much like the old VCR. However, saving those TV shows becomes difficult as the Hard Drive starts to fill up. The answer to saving your shows is to record them to DVD! This can be accomplished easily by hooking up a DVD Recorder to your DVR
Here's How:
1)record a TV show on your DVR that you want to save to DVD!
2)Turn on the DVR, DVD Recorder and the TV that the DVD Recorder is connected to. In my case, I have my Samsung DVD Recorder (no hard drive) hooked up to my TV via an RCA Audio/Video cable from the rear outputs on the DVD Recorder to the rear RCA inputs on my TV. I use a seperate DVD Player for playing DVDs, but if you use your DVD Recorder as a player as well, use the best cable connections you can to connect to the TV. 3)Connect an S-Video or RCA video cable and composite stereo cables (red and white RCA plugs) from the DVR to the inputs on your DVD Recorder. If your TV has Component inputs, connect the Component Out from the DVD Recorder to the Component In on the TV, otherwise you can use S-Video or Composite. You will still need to use RCA audio with your video connection.
4)Change the input on your DVD Recorder to match the inputs you are using. Since I'm using the rear S-Video input, I change my input to "L1", which is the input for recording using the rear S-Video input. If I was recording using the front analog cables it would be "L2", the front Firewire input, "DV". The input select can typically be changed using the DVD Recorder remote.

leave coaxcil cable on dvr ;unplug the colored wires from the dvr output and plug them into the output of the recorder;plug a second set of colored wires into output of dvr and into input of recorder;be sure to set recorder input to proper setting on recorder (input one or two) now you should be able to record what your dvr plays or just use it as a dvd player ; you will need to have all three on to watch tv though.
COMP 1 and 2 are for 480i/p sources. Hook it to the 1080i capable on the back. Also make sure the HD DVR is outputting 1080i not 720p. The Mits can not disply 720p and will show a scrambled screen if you try to.
disconnect the wii it will eventually ruin your tv game systems can't be used on rear projection because of problems caused you may need to hook everything up at the bottom of the panel and switch back and forth using your remote we had to do that on ours
Hi, where you plug the dvd cables into the tv determines where the picture will be seen; Example, if you plug the dvd players yellow, red & white cable into the tv`s "input 1" then you go to the tv`s "input" or "tv/video" button and push those buttons to get "input 1" to come up on the screen and you`ll see the picture and hear the audio, it`s kinda like a file folder in your computer, you`ve got to find the file then open it to see the contents. If your tv is on channel 3 or 5 or whatever you won`t see the picture because the picture is in video not a tv channel
