Magic Chef Model#MCMY10SCC-No Heat-Smoke coming out

We have a Magic Chef microwave/convection oven that is less than year old. The microwave wont heat and the convection oven blows smoke when in use it wont work either. I have contacted Magic Chef and Maytag who owns Magic Chef and neither will do anything about it. I personally think it is toast and cant be fixed or if can would be lot more than a new one. Any help on what this problem may be is greatly aprpeciated. thanks

There are several things that could cause a microwave not to heat. Most common is the magnatron and some models have up to a 5 yr warranty on that part. Check the owners manual for that info.
