Refeshment Center in door stopped working

The ice and water dispenser on the freezer door of my KitchenAid side by side refrigerator stopped working at the same time. The nightlight also stopped working, but that was a few months ago (yes, the bulb is OK). No problems with the icemaker. Could there be a loose connection somewhere, and if so, where should I look? Model KSBS25FJWH01.

You could have 2 problems:
The switch is not working, or the wire broken in the door (bottom).
When you push the dispenser, do you hear some nose?
If not then check the above.
This problem nothing to do with the night light.

I had this problem and it was due to a broken wire in the harness at the lower left corner of the door where the wire harness comes out of the door and goes under the refrigerator. The wire harness was cut open and the two ends fastened together with a wire connector.

Since both stopped at the same time and are not really related problems (Ice is one feature, water another) the likely culprit is the control board. See this diagram for where it\'s at.

Item 18 is the board and 20 is the little wire harness. If you\'re lucky the wires may only be loose.

Our kitchenaid french door with water/ice dispenser has stopped dispensing water. Ice is coming out just no water.

It could possibly be a bad side to the watervalve, or the line going inside the freezer door is frozen.

Water dispenser works, ice maker makes ice but doe not dispense

Remove the ice bucket/container from inside the freezer compartment. Examine underneath at the front of the container to see if ice cubes are lodged between the metal blades. If cubes are caught in this area, they will prevent ice from dropping into the glass/cup.

Will not dispense water or ice

Check for broken or frayed wires at the bottom of the freezer door.

There is a wire harness that is routed around the bottom of the freezer door right by the hinge.

After many opening/closings of the freezer door, these wires tend to break or fray and short or open.
