Question about Panasonic PT-51SX60 51" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

On/off Having a problem with set turning on,then after about 1/2 hour or so it will shut off.wait a few seconds or so and it will come back on by itself.or use the front switch ,or remote. Seems like something heating up,then shuts off.Thought it was the panel switch(it was broken) so I put new one in. But it does it even when using remote? HELLLLPPPPP.

Sounds like you either have a bad solder connection heating up and becoming an open circuit or a capacitor that is going bad as it heats up. Either way, you'll probably need a tech to properly troubleshoot it.

Horizontal Lines

The unit most likely has a short in the horizontal section and would require repair by a service center. Go here to find a JVC repair center in your area http://maps.jvc.com/cAscList/
