Weak coffee My B60 coffee is very weak...how can I correct or improve...

  • iritegud Feb 26, 2009

I just purchased mine and all the coffee is too weak. It is the nature of the product's brewing system, I believe, so I intend to return it to the store where I purchased it. I think it is irresponsible to suggest that the product can be tweaked to remedy this issue when even its product literature does not offer a solution for weak coffee.

Have you de-scaled and rinsed your Keurig?

Two things more you should look after: Boiling temperature and cleaning the funnel and exit needle.

My Keurig B60 is Suddenly Brewing WEAK Coffee

I don't have a solution but have just experienced the same problem and am baffled. I am using the same beans same grind. In fact using the exact same grind it went from great one day to weak the next day.  I always run it for 15 - 16 secs to get the shot and that hasn't changed. Pressure and temperature appear fine. I cleaned the top of the top filter which was a little dirty but not seriously bad - no change. The coffee flow which is normally chocolate coloured to start with is just mid brown.

Coffee isn't dispensing properly

You're using K-cups right?
Check if the funnel or exit needle is clogged up.
If you haven't de-scaled it for the last 4 months, try to de-scale it and rinse it with clear water and no K-cups.
