I had no power on my cepc800. Since parts are not available I had my husband tear it apart. If you are not electrically inclined don't try it....the problem in mine was a high temp resistor, which was bad. The problem was solved with a $2.50 resistor from our local electronics store.

sounds daft but try changing the fuse in the plug. if this not the case could be the element and time for a new one!

look at the pressure cooker section
(some other pressure cooker is showing in the photo) use the drop down menu to
choose the model number of your cooker and click view, it should download as a
pdf (or you can save it as one) on your computer.
Hint: I tried this
on firefox and the 'view' button would not work, so you may want to use Internet
Explorer to get your manual.

You can join the yahoo group: PressureCookerRecipes and they have a file that shows step by step how to change the fuse for this pressure cooker. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. The display lights up and everything, but it doesn't produce any heat. I suspect it's a problem with the "weight sensor" on the bottom, but I'm not sure. Anyone?
