I had no power on my cepc800. Since parts are not available I had my husband tear it apart. If you are not electrically inclined don't try it....the problem in mine was a high temp resistor, which was bad. The problem was solved with a $2.50 resistor from our local electronics store.

SOURCE: cook's essentials pressure cooker float valve

body { background: #FFFFFF; margin: 0px; padding: 4px; font-family: arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; } p { margin:0px; padding:0px; } .spwrap { background: transparent url(../wysiwyg_rte/misspell.gif) repeat-x scroll center bottom; } http://www.wpcookware.com/manuals.asp

look at the pressure cooker section (some other pressure cooker is showing in the photo) use the drop down menu to choose the model number of your cooker and click view, it should download as a pdf (or you can save it as one) on your computer.

Hint: I tried this on firefox and the 'view' button would not work, so you may want to use Internet Explorer to get your manual.

SOURCE: Our slow cooker will not turn on - we have only

I have the same problem. The display lights up and everything, but it doesn't produce any heat. I suspect it's a problem with the "weight sensor" on the bottom, but I'm not sure. Anyone?

Cooks Essential 6 quart pressure cooker error code - 2 upside down LL 7????

The only thing I can think of for 'LL' is 'Low Liquid'. It may also be 'eLLement' and they can't spell.

Unfortunately 'Cooks Essentials is a QVC trademark. They don't make them, they just buy from China and sell them. This page on the manual for _this_ model (you don't tell yours, 6 QT is a size, and they do lots) tells you about repair and warranty. It sounds like you have an element gone and the error is telling you in Chinese.

How do you work the pc crock pot

How to operate: Plug in. Set timer to amount of hours to cook. Press the SELECT button to scroll thru 4 settings - "warm", "1" (Low), "2" (Medium)", "3" (High). Once the desired cooking temp selected, press the "round circle" power button to begin cooking. The time display will now start to count down to "0:00" When the cooking time has been reached, the slow cooker will automatically go into "warm" mode for a maximum of 6 hours, then automatically turn off. When I plug in my pressure cooker in any working outlet the pressure cooker does not light up or turn on.

When the house breaker pops, that usually indicates a shorted heat element. The electronics inside may have a protection fuse on the board that blew too. Look at your warranty card for instructions on returning it for repair if the warranty is still in force.

How to use the slow cooker on the oval cooks essential pressure cooker

I have a Tricity TSC09 6 litre Slow Cooker and I just love it its so handy, if your gone for even 10 hours it keeps your dinner warm after the cooking time runs out. I smashed the lid and was so gutted I tried for hours online to find a replacement lid with no luck. I went shopping and bought a very cheap 6 to 7 Quart or 6 to 6.5 litre Slow cooker / Crock pot of the same shape the removable pot and lid fit. I bought a cookworks, signature, 24 euro 6.5 litre oval dog standard slow cooker and the lid fit, now I also have a removable pot replacement as well just in case I smash that too. So happy I have my Slow cooker back again.

I do NOT know how to use i.e keep at pressure without burning stuff. This is my daughter's Sambonet pressure cooker, it has a strange looking style of lid lock down that is part of the pressurisation...

Pressure cookers rely on pressure and steam,
Do a dry run first...well not dry but with just water, (no food) especially if it's an old cooker.
Inspect for cracks or pinholes before you go ahead, a crack ANYWHERE in a pressure cooker makes it a bomb...or a flower pot.
Ensure all safety devices like the pressure regulator and blow out plug are in good condition and not plugged.
If some previous owner replaced the blow out plug with a bolt or something silly don't use the cooker till it's repaired.
Bring your pressure cooker slowly up to pressure over medium heat with an inch or two of water in the bottom.
When it starts to vent steam turn the heat down so the steam barely escapes, if it has a rocker weight it will wobble a couple times a minute.

Slow gentle heat is the trick. A cooker will run for hours like that without boiling dry.

A couple tips, use salt and spice sparingly, it's trapped in there and permeates the food.
Be careful with foods that expand on cooking like rice and dried things, they can get up and block the vents if they reach the lid.
