My Tv is only 5 month old. For some reason when I turned the TV on the picutre was a pink/purple it would stay on for a couple seconds and then the screen whould be covered with line. It is almost like their is a lose connection causing the problem. On another note when I play a dvd the picture is great with no probems. EWhat could be wrong.
Check all your connections, and if your running a Sky/Freeview box, try plugging an aerial into the TV and see if its the plug in box. I had a similar problem and discovered that the Sky box had a fault.
