My kanguru mp3 player is frozen on locked (hold)

SOURCE: Sansa MP3 Player will not turn on

I had the exact same problem it was after I ran a new firmware update, it flashed on and then turned off and would not turn on or recognize the computer. Solution: Since i didn't have a mini screwdriver to take the battery out, I held down the menu and power button for 15 seconds let go and it powered right up and works great.

i am going to try and help you...just take it to the store where you got it, or take it to radio shack and try to figure out the problem...mine is doing the same thing and i am severely mad at it so just take it to an electronics store

Frozen and locked frozen
Flip the off and on button 3 times then hold the menu button and it will restart and it should be fine

I tried to remove a song, and now it is frozen.
if your ipod is frozen, hold down the center button and the menue button at the same ezact time. this should refresh your iPod

My recorder/plaer is frozen in the on position,
Ensure the key lock is not activated by sliding
"Power on/off ( )/Hold" towards the center
position.If your player isn’t already on, turn it on by
sliding "Power on/off ( )/Hold" to the left
and holding until the player turns on.

If this does not work, reset the player by removing/reinserting the battery.

My Sandisk c150 is frozen and I've tried to turn it off and push the Hold button then turn it on again, but all that comes up is a symbol of a lock. Please HELP!
In this case on the Mp3 player itself u will see a Hold/Unphold slide switch just slide that switch to the opposite direction and that will fix the problem

Kanguru micro pro will not turn on..
please post this again as a comment to the previous thread since it's relevant. Is it possible that the computer is using the mp3 only as a flash drive? if so it's not unlikely that a defect is causing it to shut down when on it's own. I would do a firmware update, assuming it will reset some things and put them to order. but you really should take it to the shop if there's a chance for a warranty covering this Good luck
