Well i have no idea what happened. one day i was watching videos at night and i went to bed, next day i want to watch a video and they are all gone. i check the memory too see if they were deleted but it shows my memory still very low. i have 774 mb out of 1893 mb. my brother has the same songs plus more and 3 videos on his sansa e250 and he has more memory then me! is there a reset button that i can do so i get all my memroy back? or maybe the files were hidden.
i hooked up the device to the computer and on 'MY computer' i went to the device. i looked under videos to see if it showed any and it shows none. It seems that the veideos deleted along with the space. can you guys help?
Re: Videos have dissapeared, but memory still gone?
I had the same problem. I updated the firmware. I then set the unit to the MSC USB type. I then went to "My Computer" and right-clicked the drive and reformat in a fat 32. I now have all available memory back.

often times, delete only deletes the index in memory to find the recorded items, but the video/photo/etc is still on the hard drive/memeory. getting to it is the issue(unless it has been recorded over). if it is overwhelmingly important, some recovery experts might be able to help.
1 - Go to the link you want to
2 - Put on the first link 10
3 - result will be selected files as you like, whether loaded or View
Then chose Do you want to watch and download
Does it happen in the night?Does it say buffering?Well it could be your service provider. You can try going on line during the day to the same site, just to make sure of this.i had the same problem and i increased my memory to two gigs and the problem is now gone. But before you buy try going on line at a different time to make sure
You problem set your camera to use internal memory only. Set the memory function to memory card only and all pictures will go to the memory card until it is full. You can probably still transfer your pic files from internal memory to your card.
This may sound silly but check your circut breaker or if you have a GFCI on your outlet because maybe you have too many things plugged into it. Plug a lamp or something into the outlet. If you are sure it is the TV check the owners manual for common troubleshooting. After that I would pursue the warranty; it should be 1 year with this model.
