I bought my GC 6 months ago and from some days my game (battlefield 3) Giving too much lags and was unplayable. So i opened my case and i saw that two of GC's golden fingers were partially broken.. Do this issue is causing lags in my game? Can i get it replaced in this scenario? thaks in advance.!!
It can be a lot of things, First what's is your system specs (CPU,Graphic card,HDD), Second What's is your power supply (how many watts). If your graphic card is too powerfull for your power supply the graphic card will burn.
For checking your system specs you can download cpuid-z or go to this website to know if your computer can run the game

SOURCE: "No Signal" problem while playing games
hello to you.look..here is a quite sad solution.
I have many computers in my home and one of them has a MSI ati radeon 9550 td/256 ddr2 on it,a mainboard via kt 400 from MSI and an old athlon xp 2400++,1 gmemory.
I ask you to belive me that on this old computer I played and still play all the games on the market.for instance the super graphic game stalker.
ok..from my experience I tell you...your board supports fine almost every new game now on stores.
the problem you have unfortunatelly is a phisical problem.
your video card has ,as you told me,lack of signal and strange behaviour.
first of all,try this.
take a new ati catalist from ati/amd site or from www.guru3d.com.
if with this up to date driver it doesnt work...well...try also to make a 3d mark test to see how its going..
if you fail this test wellagain..
well if you discover that the software problem is out of discussion..
the board is damaged in this case, which means the rams from it ,in the most of the cases are damaged..It can be a factory mistacke,by puting there rams with differnt latencyes..they work for a while and bang...fail...thats why the old drivers work fine ..they dont need the same resources like new ones.
In this case I suggest you to bring it back and ask for a replacement..
good luck
bye bye

most computers systems have certain drivers configuration setups for certain games so you dont have that problem.
control panel, open up personazation, open display setting, find advance setting, open the folder that matches the type of graphics card you are using.
open the control center
3d settings
game setting
display options
avivo tm video
power players

contact the shop / place you purchased it from and they should be able to give you info of where to send it and what to do - they should have a section on there website where you can go through the return process and you will most likely need to get an RMA number to authorise the return / replacement.

Update your graphics card drivers. I'd be happy to link you some if you tell me what type of card it is.
