Cx7430 printer dock does not print a full pic., top is not printed

sounds like its only receiving half the data. try these step... uninstall printer from your device... reinstall printer to device... if youre using a smartphone or tablet, switch to a pc... press and hold the cancel button on the printer... turn it off for 60 seconds then power it... run the nozzle cleaner function, then try again

can you check if you have the CD that came along with the Kodak Printer? You would need that to install the printer on your computer. Once thats done, you should be able to print the pics

Here you go

Go to Start/Control Panel/ Add remove software.
Remove the Kodak Easy share software.

Do not re install it.

Use USB cable to connect camera to computer
Use alternative software [picasa which is Free] or any other image editor for processing and printing images.
It is likely your printer has supplied software that is suitable.

It could be a few things.

How does it print if you take the memory card out of the camera and plug it into the printer?

How does it print if you print from the computer?

unplug power cord. Then hold down the transfer key and the left arrow button at same time and plug power cord back in.

it might be the charger itself

Lines in printouts indicate lots of issues. Clogged printheads...even in a new printer, damaged cartridge, or air bubbles in ink. Take out the cartridges, clean the heads and the docks printhead, replace and try again. If no success, try standinf the cartidges upside down on wet paper towel, and bleed ink a little. This eliminates air bubbles. Try printing now. Clean heads with printer program too. If still no success, follow consumer rights which says you are entitled to a product doing what it says it should for a reasonable amount of time (if it turns out to be a faulty dock. Try a new cartridge too after claening to eliminate damaged cartridge.

Kodak has been making a lot of changes to that program, due to problems. If you loaded the software that came with the camera, it is very likely out of date. You need to visit the Kodak website and download the latest version of the software.
