No Heat Problem dryer not heating, suspected Thermostates,so bypassed thermostates for short period and dryer heated,replaced both,have dryer 4 years first problem with dryer NB Do not run dryer for long while bypassing Thermostates

    i have a tdc6a tumble dryer and its still turning but not getting hot its just stopped gettng hot today worked ok yesterday, have had it for over 5 years first problem so can't complain thanks for help and info try not to be too technical im female lol

More than likely that u have blown heater element u can test your element with a power cord connect it to the live earth and neutral and plug it in and element should heat up if not it will be your element that has blown

That leaves the door switch, the timer, and the motor. If the motor runs, check the switch on the motor, it energizes the heater relay.

Dryer wont heat up. It runs fine but no heat. Replaced the Thermal fuse"flat white with 2 wire terminals.

gas or electric ok gas replace gas coils check glow bar ignighter,check thermostates,,,,,,electric check power to both sides of wall outlet you need 220 volts and it will start and timer will advance on 110 vts second check second fuse looks like a thermostate normally located at top of heater coil call if you need to http://www.washerwizzards.com

No heat

solutions are
blown fuse takes 2 (30 amp fuses to allow a dryer to heat )
element broken
thermostates defective eather limits or cycling thermostats
moter switch defective or plugged with lint not allowing the switch to close when it starts
timer not asking for heat
no signal to timer from temp selector witch

Whirlpool LER5644A No heat and motor wont Turn

Replace the dryer wires.
Put your meter leads into the 4&5 slots.
Make sure the door switch is closed or jumpered.
Push the start button.
If you read no voltage the issue is with the wiring, the timer, or a relay.

take the back off and check the heater and thermostates and see if there is coninuity acroos them its your heater or thermostats

Dryer is not heating up

if the dryer has no heat

1) first check the power cord at the terrmial block make sure the connection is not burn.
2) you will have to take the top off check the satety thermostates .
3) check the heater element for open heater

Wd64 thermostates keep going

Need more details on this as I am not familiar with model numbers...washer or dryer....describe in some detail what is happening.
