My flat screen suddenly stopped working. When you press the power button the light goes from amber to green then quickly back to amber. Screen does not flash or anything. I've tried it on a different computer and with a different video cable. The power supply is puting out the proper voltage. Any ideas?

First--was it working? Did it suddenly stop? When you see the LG logo, then it goes away, does the power light turn from green to amber? Sounds like that doesn't happen. So--if you are getting a signal, you should see something. If there is no signal, then the power light should change from green to orange. With no lights at all, I suspect a faulty monitor.
when ps3 is in standby mode(red light)
press and hold the power button till you hear a second beep.
standby mode press hold power........"beep"......"beep"..release power button
then try rebuilding the database and the file system in recovery consol
to get to the recovery consol press and hold the power button when ps3
is in standby mode(red light) till you hear a double beep. sometimes
the ps3 does a beep then another beep and goes back into standby thsi
is fine just release the power and quikly press and hold it again till
you get double beep.
like on my 80g system it goes like this
ps3 standby...press hold power.......beep .........beep........stanby
again....release and hold power again.......beep .........double
beep...release power now you should be in recovery menu.
Your TV is probably on the PC mode and you are not using it as a PC monitor.
You need to change the source by pressing the TV/Video button on the remote control or the SOURCE button on the TV itself. You may also just press the channel up or down buttons. Do this before the TV goes to standby mode (amber light) or while it shows the message: ATTENTION NO SIGNAL.
If it does not work, reboot the TV first and do this again.
good grief - my TV just did the same thing - its locked in standby mode - I disconnected power several times - each time i reconnect the green light comes on for about a minute 9nothing happens on the screen) and then returns to the stanby mode
It does sound like a power supply problem but that can be misleading because a problem somewhere else in the TV can be "holding down" the power supply. This can usually be determined by using some isolation techniques.
