Question about HP DeskJet 6122 InkJet Printer

HP Deskjet 6122 alignment issues

Hello everyone! I'm not quite sure if something is wrong with the printer or with my computer. I have an iMac. The page gets cut off a little on the right side and on the bottom. I'm not quite sure what to do to fix the issue. I am trying to print a PDF file that I downloaded online. My friend printed it on her computer and the entire document came out. It seems like my margins aren't correct. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I tried changing the paper size when I printed the document but that didn't change the problem I was having. I'm not quite sure how to change the pape size in adobe. Would you be able to explain that? I have an iMac. Thank you for your help!

Have you set your paper size in the printer and adobe or whatever you use to A4, it sounds like you have A5 set as default print size. Apologies if this is not the case but it won't be the first time a printer has changed settings.

When you click file then print, the box comes up and half way down is a box called 'Page Scalling'

make sure this is set at 'fix to printer margins' or set to reduce to printer margins.

See if this makes a difference.

It maybe that your printer driver is corrupt, so follow these instructions if still no better.

Disconnect and switch off printer from pc's usb port.

Go to add/remove programmes and uninstall printer software and drivers.

Go to printer and faxes folder or go through control panel and ensure the HP printer is deleted, if not right click and delete.

Re-start pc and install drivers from your printers cd rom and re connect printer when prompted and not before (if no prompt when software finishes connect printer).

Your pc should then idenitify your printer and auto install drivers.

    Try again

Server 2008 drivers for HP deskjet 6122

"Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are included with many Windows systems). If you chose the 970 driver it will want a second sheet of paper to print a test page, which you can ignore and it will stop trying. All drivers seem to be the same print quality in my systems. I do not use the 970 or 6122 driver at all so I don't have an ink level monitor or any possible related potential glitch.

I want to print in grayscale

Try a different driver. "Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are included with your Windows XP and Vista systems). All these drivers seem to be the same print quality in my systems.

When a page is completed the printer does not fully eject the paper and it and the next sheet gets crumpled and spoiled I am using hp deskjet 6122

Make sure the printer paper feed is not blocked with any paper. then check that the rollers are clean.

Also you need to make sure that the paper feed has the correct size settings (Usually a slide across guide labeled from a5-a4/letter)

I have an HP Deskjet 6122. Cannot get documents

Your printer needs some manual servicing.
It's advised that you leave it for a qualified technician to do that.
From the problem you described, the encoder sensor may be causing this problem.

I wet and slap stubborn old ink cartridges to un-stick dry jets. sometimes I use a small clear silicone tube to suck a bit of ink to get them started as the jet holes need priming sometimes if they are old.

Hp deskjet 6122 printer

If you have Windows Vista, the driver is built in. If you have XP you can download it from:

If you have Win9x you can try to do a web search for file 6122_enu_win9x_me.exe or try:
