No display panel indications on Fridge freezer

I have a similar model but UK number is RS21DPSM1/XEU. After a local power failure in the house the fridge freezer display lost all indication of temperatures ice type etc. Only a dashed green line appeared near the fridge temperatue reading. I unplugged appliance and left it for short time and then reconnected. No change. Can anyone offer a solution please

We had the same problem due to a power surge- we pressed the power cool and power freeze buttons at the same time until it reset and it's fine now. Hope this helps!

Now that sure sounds like a voltage spike took out the control board. If you can take it apart look for electrical arcing and burning, it should be visible if a strong enough surge took it out. Other than that, usually it's a swap out the board scenerio and hope it works (no real way to test the boards at home).

Should I repair or just replace my Liebherr fridge/freezer

Looks like this model is now out of date and I wouldn't trust your service guy. Any service agent will know whether the door switch, thermal sensor or control panel is faulty by simply testing them. I would not have to fit complete parts to isolate the faulty part.
Sounds like he doesn't know how to or wants the job of fixing it.
Try an independant repair service, local one man repair shops tend to give an excellent service.
If you want Currys do a good range of fridge freezers; https://www.currys.co.uk/search?q=Liebherr+fridge-freezer+model+CPEL4813&search-button=&lang=en_GB

https://www.currys.co.uk/appliances/refrigeration/fridge-freezers/bosch?searchTerm=Bosch%20fridge%20freezer

To show just one retailer. There are many more out there. Try and buy locally if you can, you will get a better service I find.

I bought a Philips (Whirlpool) years ago and after 3 years, out of warranty, it packed up. The aluminium heat exchanger started leaking. Not worth repairing.
I now purchase Hoover. They has a 10 year parts warranty.
They are all 15 tears old now.
One gets what one pays for I suppose.

Maytag fridge bepping lights out MFI2568AES...fridge and freezer working..what could it be... Beeping all night long..

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

I have a samsung twin cooling fridge model: RS21NCSV power: 230V/50Hz model code:RS21NCSV1/XEU [A] temperature is playing up!! Freezer is working no problem. The fridge is getting cold but not cold enough...

You almost certainly have a problem with either defrosting or evaporator fan motor. Please verify your model number so I can pull up your unit to provide troubleshooting information. Thank you

Filter changed but still 1% on display panel

Is this a side by side fridge freezer? Most Whirlpool models with LCD display on front- reset filter indicator to display 99% by pressing and holding 'OK' button until filter resets to 99%. If you have a different model, or of this doesn't work, advise on model number and I can instruct further

Freezer is always reporting an error.

The defrosting issue is normally due to a rear brd failure as this controls most of the appliance. Dependant on the model the F90% is normally indicating how much time is left on your water filter before it needs replacing.

I hope this helps

Control panel not working Samsung refrigerator model rs2533sw. Not cooling.

I have a samsung refrigertor rs2555sl and my control panel stopped working after I turned the power off to the house (to install a light fixture elsewhere). There was one green light blinking on the refrigerator temp display.

Hold down the "power freeze" and "power cool" buttons at the same time for at least 8 seconds. This is a self diagnostic program. A number should appear on the refrigerator temp display (1-9)...it will hold for 30 seconds and then the panel should function again.

In my case the number that appeared was "3" which can indicate a multitude of things including a short circuit or power outage (which was it was for me).

Hope this helps!
