I have a Ruckus 7111 and the wireless signal lights are blinking together any idea what this means

Several things could be a problem. First, not all wireless networks are visible, even though they are active. I have no idea what you're trying to connect - a phone, tablet, laptop, TV, or ? sometimes you can type in a network name and then it will ask you for the password or passphrase. to try this, look at your friend's device while it is connected and be sure to type the wireless network name exactly like on his device. Another possibility is the wireless router is putting out a signal your device cannot connect to.

You mean it won't allow your PC to connect to the wireless network?

this sounds like a earthing problem , so check the wiring for the head lights, see if any wires are trapped between something, bare wire touching car body , anythingthat doesn't look correct, could also be the indicator lever itself with a problem , but check the headlight wiring first

If the display isn't going full screen, on that 15.4 inch TFT LCD screen, the problem is the screen Inverter, or LCD screen itself.

90 PERCENT OF THE TIME the fault is the screen Inverter.
It isn't a simple screen resolution setting that needs to be changed.

It needs an additional light source.
The additional light source is a Backlight.

A Backlight can be a CCFL, or a series of LED's.
The Advent 7111 Notebook PC uses One CCFL,

A CCFL is a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp.
Similar to Fluorescent lighting used in homes, and businesses, but on a MUCH smaller scale.

(Average size is 2mm Thick. Length is almost as long, as the LCD screen is in height. 2mm is close to 1/16th of an Inch )

A screen Inverter is used to convert the power from the laptop, for the Backlight, and LCD screen.

I don't have access to a Service Manual, for the Advent 7111 Notebook PC. I haven't had one come to my shop for repair.

I DO have years of experience at repairing laptops, and I see the Advent 7111 is just a basic laptop, as I HAVE repaired over the years.

(MANY people go out, and buy an LCD screen, when the problem is a much less expensive screen Inverter. Afterwards they buy the screen Inverter. Too bad they didn't come here first)

Every router has a reset point/button which can be pressed by finger or ball-pen. Locate this reset. After resetting the router it will accept the the default password.

If the ring of light keeps blinking, it means that the remote controller was not connected to a receiver which is the XBox 360 console. Try to press the connect button on the console and the wireless controller to sync them together.

Replace the battery inside the mouse.

Move the mouse closer to the "receiver", so that there is a strong wireless signal between the two devices.

Hi! dont worry about the green and red lights on the wireless adapter, If you are getting a green, it means that you have an excellent signal but if the light blinks on red, it means that ur signal is not steady and trying to get a stable signal.. that is normal on a wireless card..

I think the two lights flashing together indicates waste toner box missing or full but as this printer doesn't have a waste bottle I assume it means the processing unit (ie the drum bit) needs replacing.
