Samsung CLP-310 printer shadow printing on second half of page

Every Page, every colour is printed as a shadow on the second half of the page when printing. I have ensured the back roller in the back of the machine is clean and has no ink. I have read that with other printers it can be a faulty cateridge but as there are 4 in this model I find this hard to believe and some of these are 80% full still. Please Help!!

I would check that the tension between your fusing rollers is ok as the toner will come off the paper and than return back to paper on its next revolution causing a faint image further down the page

How do I do this? I have cleaned the printer inside with rubbing alcohol, replaced the drum unit, everything and can't find a solution. thanks.

SOURCE: My CLP-350 Samsung printer only prints black ink

Here is my solution, hope it will solve your problem.

From your post, I believe your CLP-350N printer has enough black toner. The black cartridge is on the far right side of the printer, so the black toner is harder to go to left side of the roller than right side. Everytime we start the printer, it will move some toner of each color to the roller before it shows ready to print.

Because we always use B&W printing when we start the printer, but less Color printing. The result is there are always enough toner on the 3 color rollers, but the black toner is lean on the black roller. When this gets worse, the left side of the black roller may hardly get any toner at all -- so it only print black on the right side fo paper.

Step by step solution
(CAUTION: Never loss balance while tilting printer! You may drop and damage your printer! Hold the printer firmly all the time! Ask someone to help you if needed!)

Here, front of the printer is where you can access the cartridge, back of the printer is where you connect the power cord and USB cable, left is your left, right is your right.

1.Lift the front to keep the printer tilt to its back at about 45 degree
2.Power on printer while it's tilted back, wait untill green light is on
3.Open the front door, red light will be on, then close the door, printer will start up again, wait untill green light is on
4.Repeat step 3 once again, then put the printer back to level position
5.Lift the right to keep the printer tilt to its left at about 45 degree
6.Open the front door, red light will be on, then close the door, printer will start up again, wait untill green light is on
7.Repeat step 6 once again, then put the printer back to level position
8.Print some test page to see if there is any improvement of black print quality.(Hold the printer button for 3-5 seconds, it will print the test page.)

You may try several times and print several pages each time before you finally cure the problem.

Good luck! And do it safely!

Samsung clp 315 printing shadow images

Ghosting appears often because of bad toner. If cartridges have been refilled, they have wrong toner in them. If drum has worn out it will usually tell you. All parts for this machine cost too much. If toner is not the problem, probably best to get a new machine rather than pay to get it fixed. Brothers are cheaper to run.

I have a Samsung CLP-310 and I've mislaid the units manual. On the top of the unit down on the bottom right hand corner there are four (4) colour icons a yellow, red, blue and a grey, all which light up...

Here is the link to the manual, it says that the flashing light is PROBABLY caused by lack of toner and the first step is to replace/replenish the corresponding flashing light to the toner. It explains that when the light turns stys on all the time the toner will be empty.
With regards to the paper jamming, there is 3 pages on things to do or try.

I hope this gives you a few ideas

Samsung clp-315 printer stops printing after half page

You'll probably have to replace the exit sensor (lots of people have this problem). Go to YouTube and watch this video: 5fJHykzkfww

You can get the part on eBay for about $10 and it's a fairly simple 15 minute fix.

Possible print alignment issue.
Check the toner and then go to properties of printer.
Clean heads etc and then print test page.
Wizard should assist to troubleshoot
