Sim card rejected

If the phone reject your sim card,there may be two problem with your phone.1)If you used incorrect puk code.The sim rejected message will appears after tries exceeded.The second reason for this,it is because of network lock.If your phone is locked to network,the sim get rejected by phone.So you need to unlock it.It is locked to which country's network.You can unlock it using the Unlock code.Visit the site Mobileunlocksolutions.com get unlock code for mobile phone and unlock it then use any GSM network sim card.You can get remote unlocking service for Iphone from this site and unlock.

I have the same problem with my curve 9360. It reject the sim card, but it was wordkinh all right:

If the Phone says Sim rejected means it locked to Network,You need to Unlock it,you can get the unlock code from the site
Unlocking4u.com/unlock-your-phone/rs6wp2/ and Unlock it from Network Lock,Then You can use any GSM Network Sim card in NOKIA 1280.

Contact your Sim Card Provider to issue new sim with same number.This is the only way.Thanks for visiting fixya

If you happen to have another sim card with you, can we try to use that sim card and see if the phone will send.
Or your sim card on another phone.

-This is to identify for sure is the issue with the phone or sim..

-If you cant send using another phone then get you sim changed or check with your operator.

-If you are able to send on another phone then you may wanna try resetting your phone by following these steps:

- A restore by keying in *#7780# when on standby - This will not delete any data but will restore all the settings back to default.

If that does not help then you may wanna try doing a soft reset by keying in *#7370# when on standby - This will reformat the phone. DO NOT FORGET TO DO A BACK UP AS THIS WILL ERASE YOUR ENTIRE PHONE MEMORY.

The security code by default is 12345

If this fails as well then you may try doing the Hard reset by performing the 3 finger reset. You can do this by switching the phone on with the '3', '*' and green 'call' buttons pressed at the same time.

Go to service provider office and get the New Sim Card dummmy Sim at same number.

SIM rejected means that you have tried entering your PUK code and it has failed, alerting the system and deleting it out of the system. You'll have to buy a new SIM.
