I just bought a LCD monitor samsung 740N. it works very well but i was testing one of my old games wich runs at 320x240. and the colors were awful and it was very very dark, i noticed while playing that it had some color and shade variations. I also noticed that when i check the "info" part of the monitor's menu it shows a resolution of 640x480.
I tried adjusting the colors the bright and the contrast, but it didnt work.
I wish to know if this monitor just doesnt support this resolution (320x340) or if i can fix this.
If you have any solution to this i would really apreciate it.

well take it back and get another one or get a reaprist guy to fix it.maybe ask someone from were you got it and tell them this computer dosent work.are you playing a game for it or doing downloadung with it.
theres only one solution to the problem you have to replace the whole power supply board .its easier to replace them than finding and soldiering the defective parts like the capacitor on the board .u can just replace the power supply board if u think the power has a problem. if it doesnt work then u have to replace also the main board or the board connecting the rgb cable.its more expensive to replace the board but its worth it. ur lcd will work better and its easy to put them on the lcd casing .
