You will probably have to read through your owners manual to find the answer to that problem. It does not appear to be a part failure causing it. It could be something as simple as holding the power button in for 5 seconds to reset it.

Unplug the machine. Have a look behind the tray flap. there should be a very small hole to push a paperclip or similar into to release the tray.

Dvd sanyo is locked can't get open

Unplug it, and plug it back in. Hit the eject button right away. This should help if it locked up with an unreadable disc.

Push and hold down the Open/Close button until "UN-LOC" appears on the FL display (or "Disc Tray Unlocked" appears on the TV screen).

Cannot open the disc tray

I see if thats the problem, the memory IC was been shocked by voltage caused by a capacitor, all I can say is to open your cd/dvd and unplug the memory IC and try to put it back, ussually its a 8 pin IC, I have a problem same as this before from a custumer but its a tv reciever.

Locked dvd tray.

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears.   The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button.

To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
