Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have an Officejet 7410 that will not start up. The display screen never leaves it's startup display and none of the buttons help or respond. I unplugged it, plugged it back in and the same happens. I've dealt with HP on this printer before and, well, if I ever have to deal with their support people again, I shudder...But, the printer will not come 'on', just stays with it's screen waiting to boot up with the little status bar going back and forth, back and forth... Is there a fix for this beyond a large hammer?
The print button will not turn on. Nothing will print. The hp screen in the middle lights up and it blinks but nothing else. Can anyone help me?

Remove the power cable directly from the back of the printer, press and hold # and 9 while holding both these buttons put the power cable back to the printer. now let the buttons go when the on light starts flashing

A bit more detail on this...
The display shows the "HP invest" startup screen with the little status bar running back and forth. This goes on for a wee bit, then restarts...only for the fun to continue again and again just the same.
Please help...my head hurts.
I have the same problem as described above. The solustion offered did not fix my problem. Does anyone else have any ideas?
