The tv has a set of buttons on the front of the tv. you don't notice them because they are touch buttons, like a touch screen cell phone. shine a flashlight on the bottom right and you will see them.

Original remote is hard to come by, try EBAY, without orignal remote you may nat be able to access all the on screen setup functions. Watch out for the power supply module to go out on this TV.

Protron pltv 3250 power cord

It is the same power cord as used for your PC, NEMA5-15P to IEC C13.
This TV has known problem with power supply, so keep an eye on it.

No power on my protron pltv-3250. Any advise? larry

Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out Q7 and ZD4.

Check the fuse, if it is blown, replace with exact same one. Try again, if it blows again, its a power supply problem for a repair shop.

Standard RCA cables are fine to connect both units. If home theater and tv has Component Video (Green-Red-Blue) connections, you can get better video result.
