The office I work for just got a used Canon LaserClass 9000L. I know nothing about it...and I need a manual. Does anyone have a link to the PDF I could download? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What porbably happens on the Fax 9000 is the memory is almost full. What you can do is press data registration and set, scroll down to TX settings and set, scroll down to Auto Redial and set scroll down and when you get to Error TX press set and press the down arrow to Off. Then to quickly dump the memory. Pull the power plug and hold down the stop button and plug the power back in and release the button once the time and date appears. Presto the memory is clear, the speed dials are still there and once you put the document into the feeder it should indicate 0%

Make sure the rear guide is pushed up tight against the paper.
Remove all legal size paper and make a copy.

If you open the 2 key panels,on your one toutch speed dail panel. You will find the dataregistration button and other program key funktions.Above dataregistration button you will see a small switch, that you canset left-off and right -on.If you switch it to off that message will disapear. You only switch it to on if you wants to make changes to the settings of the maschine. This switch is called registration key.

If you are not a tech you cannot fix this yourself normally - it is usually either the fixing unit that has failed or the laser. You can try resetting the printer by entering the service mode ('data registration' button then press the # key) then scroll through to LBP reset (i think you select no. 6 for 'CLEAR' then select 'LBP CLEAR' or 'RESET PRINTER' and perform that. This may help for now.
