I had an old oven that started working poorly. We pulled the old electric wall oven out and noticed that one of the power connections was poorly attached. We put the new oven in and made sure the connections were all attached properly. The new oven has the same problem as the old. It heats up very slowly. The upper element works but the lower element seems not to be working at full power. The oven wont get hotter than @350 degrees unless you put it on broil. My question is could the wire that was damaged be permenently damaged and thus the oven is not getting enough power. Thanks. The oven is a Frigidaire Gaallery Series

I had an Kenmore oven that started working poorly. The oven heats up very slowly. The upper element works but the lower element seems not to be working at full power. The oven wont get hotter than @350 degrees unless you put it on broil. My question is why is this happening
Thanks.
The oven is a Kenmore MOD C880 662020L0
I have the same problem. I smell gas when starting the oven and it heats up very slowly. It's a Kenmore.
I have a GE wall oven model JKP27WOP3WG that gets warm but not hot. When I turn on the broil, the broil coil comes on and gets hot but when in the bake mode, the oven only gets warm. The thermostat was replaced several years ago. The clock and membrane panel seem to work ? ? ?
Should I replace the thermostat again or the relay switch behind the panel?? Thanks
upper oven seems to have rust in it. Also the cabinet that the oven is is has moisture damage on back of the wall
