My son-in-law bought it for me only a month ago. I had it sitting on the dresser and last night when I walked past it, it fell off. It doesn't come on at all. Will the cost of repairs exceed the cost of the set ($90.00)?

Re: Is it worth taking to a repair shop?
The circuit board is probably broken. OR maybe also the picture tube.
If service shops in your area give free estimates, it might be ok to have someone checkit for you. Newer tv's however can be replaced cheaper than repaired unless they cost several hundred dollars.
The smaller size of the circuit boards make it very difficult to repair them.

As I said, my son-in-law bought the Garmin c550 off Craigs list. I do not want to pay for an answer so I will give it back to my son-in-law and tell him I could not figure out why the PIN doesn't work any longer. Thanks for asking, Brandy
Take it to the repair shop. My son's KF510 did the same. I await the results of the autopsy!
It started to play up almost straight away when he bought it a month ago. Last night it failed to go past KF510 logo then goes to a low level purple screen. Removing the battery seemed to fix it prior but not now!
