The printer works perfectly, except lately it has started to get noiser and noiser during the initial warmup cycle. After a full night, in early morning, when the printer is cold. The warmup cycle sounds like gears are grinding, clattering. Finally it warms up, shuts down and then prints perfectly. Could there be something loose in the gear or drive system that only is a problem during this warmup cycle? Is there some way I can adjust or tighten something to repair this? Thank you, Fred G.
Put your ear closer to printer to detect source of noise, put all gears out and check each one and reassemple them, I hope you solve your prob.

Ours does this too and now it does it when it's actually printing. I believe it has something to do with the gears that feed the paper through but we can't find anything. It's printing fine, but this printer is only 6 months old. I can't believe this is normal operating noises.
Warmup cycles every 20 seconds (therefore not a quiet printer). Other than that it prints fine.
