Was watching tv today and the screen just went black. The ILO is only a year old and the limited warranty just ran out. Lost the manual so I can't look up anything there. Just not much out there on an ILO. We tried unplugging, leaving off and other to no avail. ????? Dumb question, do plasma's need recharging?

If the menu display isn't coming up either, then the odds are the power supply for the screen is the problem. Most manufactures call this a Backlight Inverter Board. Being that it's only 7 month old, it should still be under warranty by the manufacture. I would try to get it fixed by the warranty first if possible.
If the fuse burned out the the tv would not turn on at all. When the tv is on is the back light still on? If its not its probably the back light that needs changing. If its on then its one of the circuit boards.
