Question about Panasonic PT-51HX41 51" Rear Projection Television
When I first turn on my TV there are numerous horizontal, wavy lines. After a minute or so they go away. It is hard to tell, but I believe the problem is slowly getting worse. I am assuming that the set will eventually go, but how long? The TV is just over 5 years old, so don't want to spend big bucks fixing it. Should I call someone now or just roll the dice until she quits?
It's probably failing capacitors, does it squeal while this is happening?

If you mean squeal as a noise, then no. Is this an expensive fix?
