I think it is safe to say that your lamp needs to be replace. The crackling that you here by the lamp is the Ballast striking, trying to turn the lamp on. It will try 3 or 4 times and then quit. Your Color Wheel is the other sound that you are hearing and is normal as well.

The process is fairly easy and is explained in detail in the owners manual---You Tube has video instructions for most models as well.

I would check your lamp 1st. Do you have a lamp light flashing on the front of your set after TV shuts down? That is a message to let you know what might be wrong.

This unit uses a DLP (digital light processor) chip and if this starts to fail then you will get spots appearing on the screen. The DLP chip will need to be replaced.

Ballast

Sound like ur main video board have alot prob.,must change,HDMI ports not that easy damage if used it correctly.

lamp needs to be replaced.
