Hi i turn my alpine on and i have 2 retune the radio stations i store them but when i get back in my car i have 2 start 2 retune any idears

Probably you dont have the constant pos (+) wire hooked up to hot (+) wire and only to a source that is switched. Switched means every time your key is removed from ignition switch the positive current from that source will also power down. There are two positive leads from the unit, 1 always hot and the other needs to be switchable. The constant hot (usually yellow) powers the memory for your settings. Just like your television set, once you pull the cord off the socket everything returns to default setting.

Have an alpine 9886 stereo and cannot connect my blue tooth ready phone...

Hello maslynab,

The Alpine CDA-9886 is Bluetooth ready but requires an adapter such as Alpine's KCE-400BT or a generic adapter in order to pair with a phone.

Hope this helps.

Hooking up alpine hd radio unit, bt-400, which one do i hook ipod to

Niether .... do you know what you have in hand? Both those extras costed someone some cash ... OK here it is: the CDA-9884 has a dedicated input for ipod (a KCE-422i cable is needed and comes with the new CDA-9884 in the box) ... The HD radio unit allows you to recieve new HD radio signals (digital radio, and stations that have it in your area may also have extra music streams like HD TV does). The bt-400 is a bluetooth adapter to use bluetooth enabled devices with such as a cell phone. If your ipod has bluetooth you could used the bt adapter but I suggest the KCE-422i cable instead, and check out the HD radio too, it's pretty cool.

Works fine through 4 chnl. amp on radio until you switch to cd then rear speakers turn off

You have the amp hooked to the "Antenna turn on" which is the blue wire.... you need to hook it to the "REM" output whis is Blue with a white stripe.
