Help! My Kenneth Cole leather laptop case won't unlock. I've never changed the 0 0 0 setting, but suddenly the combination lock won't release! The left button thingy has the appropriate "play" in it (as if it would open), but the right button thingy is not moving at all :-(
Any suggestions aside from taking garden hedge shears to it to rescue my laptop?
Just got off the phone with KC ... Lay the bag on its right side and The button on the left is now on the top (the button on the right serves no function) . and I quote "Hit it with a stapler or something" and that will reset the lock and free the latch. hope that helps
I think you need to buy another laptop bag. After all, these problems can be repeated again. I recently suffered too, because my favorite notebook bag was torn. But I found her a worthy replacement. Well, that there are sites with a huge assortment of bags for laptops. Category New Products

KC is a very tough one to find on line. Is it a specialty type band?? I dont know if yours is a leather or metal. If its a standard leather you can find at any store that carries bands. But otherwise, you may have to contact KC personally at 1-800-KEN-COLE.
I might have the solution. Is it a rectangular watch with a leather strap? It sounds weird, but I have a watch with no brand name on it (bought yesterday from K-Mart at $9.99) with the model #A126-06. The package insert said "Advance Watch Group." I googled them, and they manufacture watches for Kenneth Cole, Tommy Bahama and a bunch of other designers.
I was really surprised because K-Mart is the last place I'd buy a watch, except that it looked like my broken Raymond Weil tank watch.
I suggest you go to K-Mart and see if you find a watch that looks like yours.
The back of this watch is marked as follows:
Stainless Steel Caseback
