Check the microswitches inside the front panel control. You have to take the front panel control printed circuit board out from the TV. Repalce all the microswitches there at one time. It won't cost mor, and can be bought from most of the electronic spare part selling shops at your town.

I have lost my dish network remote but i have a universal remote i need the code so i can program my remote for my satilite

Here is a way with out the code.
1. Turn on the component (the tv, dvd, etc). 2. Press the TV (or DVD) button first and then the on/off button and hold both until the on/off button remains lit. 3.Press the PLAY button every five seconds until the component turns off.
  • Each time the Play button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks ten times and a block of 10 codes is sent to your component. This process continues until all the codes in the Code Lists have been searched. If the component has not turned off after all codes have been searched, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks four times, turns off, and the Auto Code Search Entry method is exited
After the component turns off press the REVERSE button every 2 seconds until the device turns back on. Skip to step 7. 4.
  • If your television is an older model it may want to turn on immediately before you get the chance to press reverse. If that is the case and the TV automatically turns itself on then simply follow the step and keep pressing reverse until the component turns OFF. Then skip to step 7.
If the component does not respond, continue to press the REVERSE button EVERY TWO SECONDS UNTIL THE COMPONENT TURNS ON again. This will isolate the correct code in the last block of codes sent. Each time the REVERSE button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks. 5.
  • If the REVERSE button is accidentally pressed after the component responds, press and release the FORWARD button. Wait two seconds to see if the component turns off again.
6. To save the new code, press and release the STOP button.

I have rcr312w remote control I need the code for my apex tv

  1. These instructions come from the RCA website. The crucial step is to keep pressing the reverse button.
  2. 2Turn on the component (the tv, dvd, etc).
  3. 3Press the TV (or DVD) button first and then the on/off button and hold both until the on/off button remains lit.
  4. 4Press the PLAY button every five seconds until the component turns off.
    • Each time the Play button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks ten times and a block of 10 codes is sent to your component. This process continues until all the codes in the Code Lists have been searched. If the component has not turned off after all codes have been searched, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks four times, turns off, and the Auto Code Search Entry method is exited.
  5. 5After the component turns off press the REVERSE button every 2 seconds until the device turns back on. Skip to step 7.
    • If your television is an older model it may want to turn on immediately before you get the chance to press reverse. If that is the case and the TV automatically turns itself on then simply follow the step and keep pressing reverse until the component turns OFF. Then skip to step 7.
  6. 6If the component does not respond, continue to press the REVERSE button EVERY TWO SECONDS UNTIL THE COMPONENT TURNS ON again. This will isolate the correct code in the last block of codes sent. Each time the REVERSE button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks.
    • If the REVERSE button is accidentally pressed after the component responds, press and release the FORWARD button. Wait two seconds to see if the component turns off again.
  7. 7To save the new code, press and release the STOP button.
  8. 8The illuminated ON-OFF button turns off. You must press the STOP button to save the code.
  9. 9If component does not respond or has limited functionality, codes in a different block list can be tried until you find the code that allows the remote to control the majority of your component's functions. To continue past a block list of codes that provided minimal or no control, turn component back on after being turned off from pushing play and continue with step 4.
  10. 10To Enter Code
  11. 11Manually turn on the component you want the remote to control (TV, VCR, DVD, satellite receiver or cable box).
  12. 12Press and hold the component key (TV, VCR•DVD, SAT•CBL) you wish to program. The illuminated ON•OFF key turns on and remains on. If you release the component key at any time during the Direct Code Entry procedure, the illuminated ON•OFF key blinks four times, and the process is exited.
  13. 13While holding down the component key, enter the four-digit code
  14. 14While you are pressing the numbers, the illuminated ON•OFF key turns off.
  15. 15After the fourth number is entered, the illuminated ON•OFF key turns on. At this time, release the component key. If the illuminated ON•OFF key turns off, you have entered a valid code and have followed the correct procedure for Direct Code Entry. If you enter a code number that is not in the Code Lists or you do not follow all of the steps for Direct Code Entry, the illuminated ON•OFF key blinks four times when the component key is released. This is an indication that a programming error has occurred. In that case, repeat the Direct Code Entry process from step 2 and try the next code listed.

I am trying to reset my toshibe m45 s165 to its factory settings, but when i try the whole press "0" and power at the same time, the laptop keeps turning off since im holding the power button,...

Do not hold the power button down while pressing the "0" key - it'll shut the computer off again. You just need to push it once to turn the power on and then hold the "0" key immediately after you push the power button on - just like turning on the laptop, but this time you're holding the "0" key down.

The power was turned off. Now get a warning: system resume failure. What to do to restart?

When you get the resume failure message, push and hold the power button until the unit turns itself off (usually around 5 seconds). Once it is turned off, press the power button again to turn it on and it should boot right into windows for you.

Hughes Remote works the satellite but not the TV

You have to push and hold down TV and Mute button (for 2 seconds at the same time), then release them at the same time, then push channel up until the TV turns off.  Be patient and continue channel up until the TV turns off.  When it turns off, then push TV again to lock the code.

You were doing fine, but missed to push channel up to fine the code.
