There should be a "mode" button. Press it until you get a sun symbol, then set the temp to 23c. You can run it in "auto" and just increase the set temperature, reducing it to 19 when you want it to cool again.

Does your remote have batteries? If yes change them. Somewhere on the unit there should be a selector switch, put it into test and manually lower the thermostat setting

Remote has a different temp than whats on the air con

Take a note of the temp displayed on the Aircon unit.
Go away far in a diferent room if need and start the remote, then set the same temp as you earlier noted.
Switch off the remote, and return close to the Aircon unit.
They now both should be again in sync!

Set the answer as "Helpful" if you succeeded to fix!

Panasonic inverter aircon R410 A goes to timer all the time

You have to use the remote in service mode to find the error code. Hold the 'check' button in with a paperclip for about 5 seconds and "--" will be displayed on the remote. Press timer up or down will change the error code displayed. When you hear the main unit start beeping quickly for about 4 seconds, that is your error.

I had the aircon thermostat on cold then my friend just transfered it to warm without turning the aircon off because it was too cold. in the afternoon when i tried to use the aircon theremostat to...

Problem is the thermostat. The heat/cool selector switch might not be making try back and fourth from heat/cool to make a good contact. In heat mode make sure the temp is set LOWER than your cooling temp.If it is too cold in the future just RAISE the cooling temp up and not the heat/cool switch.

The a/c on my 2003 honda accord will all of a sudden stop blowing cold air. I already had the filter changed thinking that was the problem. The mechanic is having a hard time figuring out what is wrong...

have you tried refilling the aircon gas ?

It goes empty after a while.

The reason for cold then not cold is because it is a system that works in reverse of your radiator.

The gas cycle through the system. goes through the radiator of the the aircon system (not the same as the one for the engine). there is extracts the heat out of the air. the air is now cold and pushed into the car.

the warm aircon gas the made cold further along the system but the dont have enough in the system.

imagine athletic ruynning around a track. all 20 are bunched up together. there is w spot light in the centre of the infield shining on you.

the track is your aircon system.
the spot light the air coming into your car.
You are the car
The athletes are the aircon gas.

When they run between you and the light the air is cooled off and you are getting cold air.
now of goes the air (athletes) around the system and till they come along again you get hot air.

Now fill up the aircon system (put more runner on the track and voila, less light reached you cos there is more gas in the system.

However if you refill it and after a day or even just a week it the same again you have a leak in your system and will need to have it looked at by someone specializing in car aircon repairs.

Cant make it blow out hot air.

You do not mention the model. Most aircon remotes have a mode button which has three or four icons. On cooling there will be a ice crystal icon on the lcd display. Pressing the mode button (sometimes behind a cover on the remote) this icon will change. You want to set it to the "sun" shaped icon

Aircon no longer responds to remote handset

Open the front again and make sure that the operation selector is set to remote control. If it is, then I suspect that your remote sensor reciever on the aircon unit is bad. It is very simple to replace.
