Philips dvp2280 region dvd region code setup

Please follow the below procedure to set the regional settings of your choice on your Philips DVD player:

Step 1: Turn on your DVD player (without disk)
Step 2: Press "Setup" from the remote
Step 3: Go to the "Preferences"
Step 4: Enter "138931" and the current zone will displayed
Step 5: Use the Up and Down arrows to change area (0 = multi-zone)
Step 6: Press "¨Play" on the remote.

Or you can use Leawo Blu-ray Copy to make the Blu-ray/DVD disc to region-free, so that you can play it with any Blu-ray player or computer. It is one of the best Blu-ray copy software to copy and back up Blu-ray/DVD/ISO files to hard drive or blank Blu-ray/DVD disc. This Blu-ray Copy software could help preserve your Blu-ray/DVD discs and keep them away from damages. It could copy and back up Blu-ray/DVD disc to computer in folder and/or as an ISO file, or back up Blu-ray/DVD disc to blank discs in 1:1 rate.

Multi region code for philips hts 3090 dvd player

With your set on and without disc in the tray:

1. Press PLAY from your remote control
2. Press the following button sequence: 1590 2379 390
3. Press PLAY again

This will release the region verification in your home theater (region free). However, some DVDs (multiregion in particular) will not play, since they require region detection from the player unit.

I've done this to my 3090 and been using it like this for 3 years.

Philips DCP750/37 shows "wrong region"

Australian players are designed only to play Region 4 discs. United States discs are Region 1. It is illegal to change the Region code on a DVD player, so I can't tell you how to do it (ironically, it is the most frequently asked question about dvd players on Fixya.com - global world), but there are videos on YouTube that will show you how to do it - I would just enter "philips region code dvd" as your seacrh term. You won't find that exact model, but one of the codes in the video should work. Note that you will only be able to change the region code three times on a Philips - after that you will be locked out. So change it to Region 1 once, and never change it again.
