If someone help me i cannot add any card in my motherboard ga-8id533 v1.1 i think pci slots are closed how can open these to used them
i try setup slots pci configure auto but probleme persiste
? thanks
There is no PCI lock on any retail boards. But there are IRQ sharings and conflicts. Set IRQ to auto, if not, then manualy and if so, then disable a few things, just to free up some IRQs. All depends on the board, best is to consult the manual for the IRQ sharing table and work with that.
(disable one SERIAL, IDE port or USB port if you need an extra IRQ)
Also check for onboard equivalent to the card you are adding, disable the onboard part...

Since there are 2 versions for this motherboard (rev1.0 and rev1.1) I suggest to get a closer look at the motherboard in order to find the typed model number and the version that you have. Afterwards go at this official link choose your own motherboard and download the drivers you asked for.

Hi,
Unfortunately no AGP slot nor PCI-E. The Gigabyte GA-8I845GV motherboard has only 3 Expansion Slots and all of the are PCI (33MHz & PCI 2.2 compliantt). From their website, here's an image of the motherboard http://www.giga-byte.com.tw/FileList/Image/motherboard_productimage_ga-8i845gv_big.jpg
It has a built-in Intel® Extreme Graphics Engine (845GV chipset) for video with max of 128 mb shared memory.
Should you wish to install an add-on 3rd party PCI video card, Inno3D FX5500 256ddr PCI slot tv-dvi are still available (at least in my location) for an equivalent of about 3.5K INR (80USD+).
Hope this gives you an idea. Good luck and kind regards.
