Re:
Your SIM-card is probably locked now, and you need the master-code from your provider.
The code is special to your SIM-card and your provider should be able to give it to you, however this code can be blocked to if typed in wrong several times, in this case you need a brand new SIM-card.
Your provider will usually charge you for that, but your mates brother might be happy to cover your expenses, if you explain what a jerk he is for doing this.
Theres is no immediate way to "hack" or circumvent the oproblem otherwise.

It uses the internet and therefore your cyber space is easy to get into. It may not be your phone etc but the actual space that has been "hacked".
Some years ago a friend had her Yahoo account "hacked" and "stolen". I had to contact yahoo in the US and we had to go thru the hacking together. This hack had been used to set up paypal and EBAY accounts. Pay pal were not interested, yet there had been over £4000 worth of theiving (as the correct word cannot be used on here) carried out using her email address.
What is the model of your phone? You can do master reset for your phone. This would restore your phone to default factory settings. You can get the master rest code for most of the Nokia models and Alcatel models from www.Mobileunlocksolutions.com at affordable cost. All the best mate.
try to use it until you get a puk code request then contact your service provider and they will provide you with the code DO NOT enter the wrong puk number or it will wipe everything out and the sim card will need to be replaced
Have you tried the default code? By default the code is the last four digits of the phone number assigned to the phone. However if the code was changed there is no way to retrive it other than taking it to a tech and having the firmware reset.
all u have to do is while the fone is on take the battery and sim card and or sd memory card out. then put only the battery in and turn the fone back on while holdin down the r botton the fone will then reboot it-self twice then let the r botton go and allow the fone to turn it-self on. the fone will then turn on to the main menu screen and u will not be able to do anything wif the fone till u re-register the fone.
