Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Refresh database fail

I don't understand. PLEASE help me, i can't even come in to my Sandisk because of this "Refresh database fail" what is the problem!? Got it yesterday i want to listen to some musik. But everything is gone on my list but the size och it all about 600mb is still there. Please Email the answer to me! I beg you most dearly [email protected]

    could not access my files and folders.it was on minutes ago,but i removed it to access another device.when i reconnected it,nothing displayed.it wasnt recognised by the computer.it only displayed refresh database.

    Just keeps refreshing database. Cannot get my computer to talk to Sansa. I am absolutely frustrated with the buy. A total waste of money.

    steps
    try to unlock from the computer but didnt work it only shows refresh database

    Cannot listen to songs. After I sync with my MS media player, it either gets stuck on "Refresh Database" or simply shows that songs are "Empty" when I try to listen to songs I know have been downloaded to this doggone thing!

    everytime i connect it to the computer or turn it on it says refresh data base fail. i dont know what to do... it shows it as new hardware on my computer but wont connect to rhapsody like it used to please help me...

try putting it in MSC mode and formating it and then putting back on MTP mode. Hope that works

Refresh database

You can try to reset the device by pressing the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..if that doesnt work I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware

Refresh database?

I feel that the problem you are having is because the firmware that is currently on the device is corrupted...i would recommend you to go to the sandisk website1.gif to get the latest firmware upgrafe for your device..the link for the firmware upgrade is below..I hope that helps...if you have any more problems please contact me....

EVERYTHING VANISHED ANY ONE PLZ HELP

The folder is hidden. You need to enable hidden files and folders in Folder Options on your computer. If you have the refresh database failed message often., you will need to format the device. Best of Luck.

Sansa e200 shows refresh database fail

Try emailing SanDisk technical support team at: [email protected] And ask them for the Recovery Mode firmware upgrade (Also send them the problem the way you posted it here). They should send you a link to some firmware upgrade file. You could also try calling them at: 1-866-726-3475 but an email should be sufficient because, from what I remember, it is just a link to file that you need to download. I hope that helps...
