My VCR/DVD Model # DRC6200N is not working. I can hear the DVD but no picture, do you have any suggestion what is wrong?

as far as i understand, it is caused by dry joints - poor workmanship. Try taking the top off and pressing down on right-hand side the green circuit board with the dvd in standby. Then switch on. If that works then what i did was to take all the screws out and jiggle it then put all screws back except the one to the left of the board, next to the brown board. seems to work now. If you were using RCA cables, you may have had them hooked up wrong. I know this may sound like an easy fix, but I still hook them up wrong from time to time. Especially if there are more than one set of RCA hook-ups on the back of the unit. If you were using a S-video cable you shouldn't have to use RCA cables, if you had both hooked up that could cause your DVD/VCR unit to not work properly and only get a partial feed to the TV. I hope this helps a little. Good luck.
SOURCE: Green Picture
The problem sounds like one I had. If so, the cause is as follows.
The Daewoo ouputs synchronisation information on the green channel of the RGB outputs (which are pins in the SCART socket) The Panasonic TV automatically preferentially selects the RGB input in the SCART rather than the composite video signal in the SCART. The video circuits in the Panasonic should ignore the sync on the green channel but instead interpret the sync as green signal information which means the adjustment of the green channel is upset leading to a very green picture.
Possible solutions:
1. From the TV, manually select composite video input, not RGB. This may not be possible - I think the TV automatically goes for the RGB if it is present.
2. Disconnect the wire to pin 16 in the SCART socket. This is the signal from the VCR/DVD to indicate that RGB is available. Disconnecting it means the TV defaults to the composite video. This is what I did.
3. Connect the TV to the VCR/DVD using component or S-VHS leads only.

Slide down the cover on remote control. On the bottom right side you'll see a little switch(usually is cowered with the warning white little sticker).Slide that switch to DVD1(or DVD2 if somebody got different setting).Power up DVD/VCR combo press system menu botton,go to settings, change to DVD3(factory default)and there you go.Good luck.
