I need to delete the videos on my MP3, so i went to MY COMPUTER>SANSA E250>VIDEO and then deleted the videos in the folder that i no longer wanted. but the videos wernt listed in it. so i unpluged my MP3 and the videos were still there. so i tried to watch one and it said: please use SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER to convert this video to file how do i do that?

You must upload sansa media converter from the cd that came with the mp3 player. once you completely upload it you open it and click "ADD MEDIA" and select the videos, then hit "CONVERT" and it will convert them to a *.mov* format

Mikey25 Once you connect your Sansa® e250, a pop-up should appear on your computer that asks what you want to do with the device. Choose View with Microsoft explorer, it should be the second to last option. From there you should see some folders and some other stuff. choose the PHOTO folder and delete the pictures inside. You should be able to do the opposite to add them. You can simply drag-and-drop the photos into this folder from another as long as they are the same format.
I also had this problem.
I worked it out by going into "My Computer" then clicking on the Sansa e250r folder, and then there should be four folders that say "Pictures", "Video", "Data", and "TMP" or something like that. To remove things I would go into the Picture and Video folders and have to do the old fashioned right-click delete.
*by the way, I might be wrong but you might also have to right click on the Sansa folder and click "view as folder" or something along those lines.
Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
The only way I know to delete music files or voice or FM recordings, is straight from the User's manual on the CD:
1. Set the e250 to MSC mode.
2. Plug it in to your computer with the USB connector.
3. Open the Sansa e250 drive in My Computer and browse to the MUSIC folder (or RECORD folder)and delete the files there. (That's where you also add music files, by dragging from other explorer windows.)
To delete (or add) photo and video files, you have to use the Media Converter, which you install from the disk that came with the e250.
I have a smaller Sansa, and I have had to reconnect it to my computer, go to the files on it, and delete. I believe I had to right click to get the delete option. There is no delete capability that I know of on the Sansa. I found out just by trial and error, as I have not printed out the manual. I had saved all Christmas music for my dance class party, then needed to delete it. Hope this helps.
