Oven blows thermal fuse when using self clean. Has been repaired twice coming out tomorrow for 3rd time. Is there no fix for this starting having problems last year.

I have the same problem! After calling for repair a few times, I observed as he replaced the fuse, and asked to keep the bad fuse so I had the part number. I purchased a couple of new fuses online to keep as a backup. It's easy to install, and there are YouTube videos that show you how.

We purchased our oven in 2005, and the fuse we need is still available. However, I would shop around online for the best price (a wide price range of $45 - $70). I think I purchased the last one from Amazon.

Sadly, appliances don't last like they used to. We remodeled in 2005, and within ten years, we replaced our stackable washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave with hood fan, and wine cooler. That's just crazy for what we pay for the items!

Below is a link I have included. This is a site I use to repair parts in projection tvs. The kit includes detailed instructions on how to repair it yourself. If this told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Cleaned oven, now it won't open and no lights are on.

When you self clean your oven, it heats to over 800 degrees. This usually takes out one or more electronic parts. I recommend that you purchase the part yourself and install it to save you a lot of money. Then, don't self clean it any more. I recommend that you wipe out the oven as often as you can and try to NEVER use the sefl clean option. Call us for parts at 972-859-0929. The same part is most likely out this year that was out last year. Hope this answers your questions! Ella

Same Phillips problem

IF you can solder, you should be able to repair this yourself. Can you piost the parts that were replaced, I may have a substitute that will last longer. Also, I'd like to verify that all of the parts that should have been replaced actually were.

Thanks,
Dan

Blue Halo Across screen

Hello Damianian, I too have this hdtv and had problems with the convergance and self-focus within the first year of ownership. I called Samsung within the waranty period and they sent out a tech who replaced the convergance board for free and did the manual convergance in my home. After this, with the new upgraded convergance board installed, the self-focus was not necessary anymore so I turned it off. Some time later the convergance needed done again so I called to get a price on them coming out again to do it. I didn't like the quote they gave me over the phone (around $200.00usd) so I looked for a Service Manual online and found one on an Ebay store for a total of $13.00usd including shipping. I now perform the manual convergence on this set myself and it's easy to do.
Anyone wanting to get a Service Manual for their hdtv or other technical device should check these guy's out. They now have their own website. http://www.thecdguyz.com/
I hope this helps, good luck!
