I have a color TV (aiwa sx2150) One day suddenly when tv is switched on No sound is observed. Even "sound" option from setup menu is also gone. Type of Reception (PAL, NTSC etc.)started coming while tuning, which was not observed earlier any time. Not a single sound function is accessible from remote or on TV buttons. in setup menu lenguage has started coming which was not there earlier. All other functions of Set is working OK. It looks to me some Memory/Software problem? Pl. Help me as there is no further support from the manufacture is available.

It is really a memory problem try to access its service mode open the cover of its remote control so you can find an extra carbon switch inside which is not accessible if the remote control's cover is on.Another way is you can use an eeprom copier copy a known good aiwa ctv with the same model or parameters

My aiwa surround sound subwoofer is not working. I can here bass when I touch my finger to its cord however. Just isn't working when I play music.

Hi,You did not give make and model of your Receiver !!!
Was it working before or you have just connected it to the receiver..? All surround receivers have a surround Sound Setup procedure that either Activate or Deactivate the Subwoofer..So,pls check your Sound set up and speaker Connectiions on the back of Ampl?f?er.
If problem continues pls let me know with more detailed description.
Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote us

Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149 AGING

I have Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149
The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-
AGING
6EDEH

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-
S123 K234 Y
100 000 0

The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.
