Most video game developers check to see if players are cheating and ban them to a restricted server where "hacked" players only play other "hacked" players. As for users who are taking advantage of bugs, network lag or any other means that seems unfair, Microsoft does their best, with the help of moderators within the games, to ban players from the Xbox service by actually banning their gamertag and their console. It does help though for you to Comment on other players you see online. You have the ability to click on their Gamertag profile and leave a "Rep" about them. This leaves marks on their account, where you can specify what type of "un-fairness" you are seeing. Enough of these will actually get the player banned or deleted. Hope this answers your question and let me know if you have anymore. Gamertag -- oO Gemeni Oo
Usually getting hacked is due to carelessness on an individuals part. Your son cannot be hacked unless he gives out priviledged information to the hacker. These information include such as username, password, date of births etc Also warn your son not to open unsolicited emails as most hackers also use this. The emails would contain programs for extracting information and once he opens it he has given out his info. Also free offers for free games to be downloaded should also be avoided as nothing comes free games are developed by people who intend to make a living. Any offer which sounds to good to be true should be avoided. Hope this solution has been helpful?
Hi. Your son most likely bought the Gold membership to XBOX Live thinking that it was an XBOX Live Gold Family Pack. A single Gold membership costs $59.99 USD. An XBOX Live Gold Family Pack costs $99.99 USD. With the family pack, you get four 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold memberships for less than the price of two. Two players cannot use a single Gold membership, but if they play on the same console, then two players could share one membership. Also, certain games, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops and Halo:Reach allow players to play online multiplayer games together with one "guest" player at the same time, on the same TV. I hope this cleared everything up.
If your Xbox 360 does not have display you need to stop the heat getting to the chips. You can actually do this yourself as many have in this forum using the recommended Xbox 360 Repair guide.
Basically the guide will show you how to stop the heat build up with videos and household items, of course if you are in doubt send it in.
Some game are compatible with the new xbox 360. They are called backwards compatible and you do need to flash upgrade the OS on the new xbox 360 system.
You need to go to the xbox website and go to support and download the flash update then burn it to disk and put it on the xbox to update the software. Again not all old games are compatible with the new xbox system. If your buying used games like I do make sure it says bc next to the title before buying them.
Here is the link to the upgrade
If the xbox is under warranty ( Microsoft has extended coverage on those) , have Microsoft fix it. If it's older , you'll need to find a service that fixes 360s If the case seal is broken Microsoft wont cover any warranty issues
You might check out the Informative article atEzinearticles.com to fix
the keep freezing problem as the articlegives the information about a DIY
guide, (though i don't remember thename of the site) but you can check
